About The Role
If you are a highly motivated, proactive, forward thinking Clinical Pharmacist then you could be just the person we are looking for.  PCN Clacton has an opening for a qualified and registered pharmacist who is an independent prescriber to join our progressive PCN.

You will play a vital role in the development and delivery of a sustainable and patient centred service.  You will take responsibility for areas of chronic disease management within the practices and undertake clinical medication reviews to proactively manage patients.  You will provide expertise in clinical medicines advice and take a clinical lead on medicines optimisation and quality improvement.  This role has the potential to significantly improve quality of care and safety for patients.

About The Candidate
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a pharmacist, demonstrated within a practice portfolio.
  • Have experience and an awareness of common acute and long-term conditions that are likely to be seen in general practice
  • Must be an independent prescriber
