About The Role

Do you want to work in a forward thinking, dynamic Organisation who provide compassionate palliative and end of life care to the local community?

St. Luke’s Hospice are recruiting a Clinical systems and information Officer who will be responsible for the day to day management of the electronic record system (SystmOne), information and data collection working as part of the Commissioning Support Team but also supporting the whole Organisation. This post is designed to ensure accurate data inputting and collection to support governance, internal and external activity and performance monitoring and contract monitoring. The post holder will also work to ensure that the current and future information systems are appropriate to the requirements of each service.

The post holder will be responsible to the Director of Commissioning, Integration and Development but will work closely with the Assistant Director of Clinical Services who is the clinical lead for the electronic patient record system.

About The Candidate

The role requires a motivated individual with experience and knowledge of SystmOne or another electronic patient record system. The post holder will be required to demonstrate a proactive and enthusiastic approach to data processing and management and system development.  

The post holder will be expected to work as part of a team but also work autonomously at times. They will work with a number of services across the Organisation and will need to have a warm, friendly approach. The person would be expected to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to assist and support others.

A valid, clean driving license and use of own vehicle is essential.
