About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the New Road Surgery team as a Paramedic. The level 7 Paramedic will be a new member of our clinical team, working with our GPs and assisting them to provide high-quality, integrated patient care.

This role will require you to participate in all aspects of patient care through knowledge gained from your training and previous work experience. This will be for both acute and chronic illness.

As a paramedic you will evaluate and provide care for patients from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and prescribing.

This role includes home visiting and on call responsibilities under GP supervision.
Patient care will be delivered with face to face, telephone and video consultations, domiciliary or care home visits.

You may be required to review patient documents and pathology results and assist in maintaining patient records, depending on your level of experience.

This position will suit a candidate keen to develop the Paramedic role within Primary Care.
About the Candidate

  • The post holder will be a level 7 paramedic having
  • Qualification in paramedic science approved by the College of Paramedics
  • Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration
  • Completed two-year Consolidation of Learning period as a newly qualified paramedic with ideally further experience as a paramedic.
  • Further three years experience as band 6 (or equivalent)
  • A full UK driving licence is required.
  • Experience of working in a GP practice is desirable but not essential.

We are a family doctors' practice led by four doctors in partnership serving nearly 11,000 patients in Croxley Green, Sarratt and the surrounding area, from the main premises in Croxley Green and a branch surgery in Sarratt.
