About the Role
Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist with excellent communication skills, a passion for palliative care and team working and a desire to make a difference for people with end of life care? If so we would like to hear from you.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic and self-motivated with a degree in Occupational Therapy, is HCPC registered with excellent skills, abilities and knowledge to become part of our Specialist Occupational Therapy Team supporting people with palliative care needs in the community. 
The role is for 37.5 per week/part time considered/job share considered.
About the Candidate
You will be patient centered, striving for excellence to achieve the best quality of life for patients, their families and carers. This will be achieved through the prevention and treatment of symptoms to enable optimal independence and participation in activities of daily living which are most important to each person we support, thus helping to maximize their quality of life. The work will involve prioritising referrals/ workload on a daily basis and management of a caseload of patients with complex needs, working as part of an extended MDT. You will also provide expert knowledge of palliative care in Occupational Therapy as a resource to other teams.

Palliative care experience is desirable to this role with a minimum of three years post qualification. You will be working within a supportive, dynamic team, alongside other clinicians. A valid, clean driving license and use of own vehicle is essential.
